Is This the Best Value Cardmaking Kit? Here’s What I Created

Is the All-Clubs Crate the best cardmaking subscription? See what’s included, why it’s such a great value, and how to create bright, tropical cards with this month’s kits.

Today I’m taking a closer look at the Spellbinders All-Clubs Crate Membership, which is hands-down one of the best values I’ve seen in cardmaking kits.

Month after month, subscription cardmaking kits are some of my absolute favorites to create with. I love the fresh, seasonal themes—and my Club Kit cards are almost always favorites for both me and the recipients.

If you’ve ever wondered which kits are actually worth the investment, I’ve also shared a full breakdown in my Best Cardmaking Subscription Kits guide.

I frequently make scene cards with my subscription card kits, so you might also enjoy my Best Scene Card Ideas Guide.

In this post, I’m sharing two tropical card designs using the June All-Clubs Crate—one scene card and one playful window card.

🌺 Card Inspiration: Aloha Tropical Designs

Featured Kits Used

💃 Card 1: Tropical Hula Scene

Tropical hula dancer die cut scene card crreated with Spellbinders June 2026 All-Clubs Crate kit.

Today we’re creating a fun layered die-cut card—and as always, let’s make something beautiful (and keep it simple).

The Aloha Hula exclusive set completely stole the show this month.

It includes:

  • hula dancer + accessories
  • tiki torch
  • horizon line die
  • ALOHA sentiment

👉 Everything you need to build a full scene—no extra fuss.

I used the hula dancer as my focal point and added a tropical bloom from the Large Die of the Month. This is one of the reasons I love the All-Clubs Crate—the kits are designed to mix and match beautifully.

Design Details

  • Bright tropical palette: greens, oranges, pinks, and blues
  • Sandy beach + sky background (included in the set!)
  • Foam squares to highlight the focal point
  • White card base for a subtle frame

💡 Tip: I used a shim when cutting delicate elements like the grass skirt—this made a big difference.

🐧 Card 2: Penguin Window Card

Adorable tropical theme hexagon window card with a hula dancing penguin + a die cut Aloha sentiment

This card features the second bonus item—an adorable hula dancing penguin.

How I created it:

  1. Die cut a hexagon window (Vintage Lavender Fields dies)
  2. Embossed the panel with Pineapple Pop (part of this month’s Crate)
  3. Added blue backing for contrast
  4. Popped up the penguin with foam squares
  5. Created a layered “ALOHA” sentiment, which I offset for shadow effect (part of this month’s Crate)
  6. Finished with a tropical bloom

👉 The result: texture, dimension, and a playful focal point—all from just a few kit elements.
